We can conduct our own research before apply for a particular job opening. We can get insights from current and past employees about the work culture, management style and work-life balance. Also it will be helpful if we can connect with current employees on LinkedIn or through professional networking events since through that can get information about their experiences at the company. Addition to that, at the interviews also we can ask questions about the company culture, employee development opportunities and team dynamics. Organizations should have 'live values' and should make them a tangible part of everyday work practices and company decisions. Leadership needs to embody these values and create a work environment that reflects them. Also employee involvement is crucial in this context, specially when defining the organization's core values.
